What Is Power Interconnect Bar?_

It forms part of the internal rack power distribution path in dense accelerator platforms. The bar carries current from upstream PDUs or power shelves to the individual compute sleds. It operates independently of copper NVLink fabrics inside the rack and of fiber-based scale-out networks.

Technical Details

Mounting follows the rack frame layout supplied by the platform OEM. Interfaces are typically bolted or clamped; push-pull connectors are not used for the power path. Current capacity and voltage ratings are defined by the OEM spec rather than by generic standards documents.

How Leviathan Systems Works with Power Interconnect Bar

During rack assembly crews position and secure the bar before node insertion and verify connections as part of pre-commissioning checks on H100-class and later systems.
