LEVIATHAN SYSTEMS

Refresh & Support

Close the installation with an accountable removal package.

Leviathan can scope physical de-racking of customer-released IT equipment, the agreed cable and label changes, and a recorded handoff to its next owner. Identify the assets, authorized tasks, site conditions and destination before a removal date becomes a field commitment.

Discuss a Project

Buy a defined removal result, not an unspecified decommission

A retirement project can end without a new system being installed. You may need identified servers, storage or network equipment removed from an approved position, affected physical records updated, and the released items handed to a nominated recipient. That is a different end state from repairing an installation or moving it into a new operating location.

Use this scope for authorized physical removal and its handoff. Use physical equipment relocation when the package must continue through another destination and reinstallation. Use hardware refresh and remediation when the primary result is replacement or correction in an installation. The wider retirement programme still needs its own operating, data, facility and asset-disposition owners.

Identify the equipment and the physical tasks

Removal inventory and boundary review

Connect the customer-released equipment list to the actual rack or position records and the supplied connection information. Identify items remaining in place, separately retained accessories and unresolved identities before agreeing the task population.

Authorized de-racking and IT cable work

Define the equipment removal, included physical IT cable and label changes, and applicable OEM instructions. The method, performing personnel, access and handling resources are confirmed for the actual equipment and site; removal does not include an assumed specialist disconnection.

Package and staging handoff

Agree any included preparation for the next recipient, the permitted holding location and how the package will be identified. Packaging, storage period, handling and a transfer to a carrier or asset-disposition provider are included only when explicitly arranged.

Physical record and open-item return

Record the agreed identifiers, work actually performed, affected positions or connections, next-recipient acknowledgements and remaining exceptions. Preserve the earlier installation record rather than silently deleting an asset's history.

Align equipment release with the site and system owners

Define the items and intended outcome

Name the customer asset owner, equipment population, current positions, requested physical tasks and intended next recipient. Keep proposed retirement, actual removal and later asset disposition as separate states.

Resolve the prerequisites

Identify who provides the required operating, data, OEM and facility decisions and releases for the affected equipment and connections. Confirm the permitted work area and window, applicable instructions, reviewed handling arrangement and actual receiving location. A change-window booking alone does not establish those conditions.

Carry out the agreed physical package

Perform only the released equipment and IT cable tasks within the agreed boundary. If an identity, connection, system state or site input differs from the package, refer the affected work to its nominated decision owner rather than treating the removal list as authority to resolve it.

Reconcile the handoff

Match the performed work and transferred items to the agreed population. Return items not removed, missing evidence, changed destinations and other exceptions with their owners. Close the physical task without claiming that data was erased or an entire site was decommissioned.

Send the removal brief and the decisions it depends on

Start with a nonconfidential asset summary: models and configuration, quantities, present rack or location, the intended disposition and the physical result requested. Supply the applicable equipment, connection and label records and identify gaps. Do not place passwords, private network credentials or unrestricted customer inventories in an initial inquiry.

For the scoped package, identify the people who authorize removal, control the site, own the system state and receive the equipment next. Include relevant access restrictions, work windows, OEM documents and reviewed equipment or route constraints. Electrical, liquid-side, structural and heavy-handling responsibilities remain separately established; a rack position or a device's name does not supply their release.

Tell us whether packaging is available, where items may be held and which party arranges onward collection. Space, custody, storage duration, insurance, transport and any specialist resources are confirmed for the engagement. This page establishes no Leviathan-owned warehouse, standing freight service, recycling partner or guaranteed collection capacity.

Receive a physical closure package the next owner can use

Asset-to-task reconciliation

The included equipment identities, former positions, requested tasks and actual performed-work states, with inaccessible or unverified information explicitly identified.

Affected installation records

The agreed updates for removed equipment, retained devices, changed IT connections and labels. Preserve applicable revisions and open dependencies so another team can distinguish the current physical record from the earlier arrangement.

Next-handoff record

The identified items, agreed package or holding references, recipient and transfer evidence at the included handoff points. A recipient acknowledgement records the transfer or observation agreed; it is not a data-destruction or recycling certificate.

Unfinished work and separate decisions

Items left in place, unresolved identities, missing prerequisite returns and tasks outside the physical package, with the responsible customer, facility, OEM or asset-disposition owner.

Keep data, facility work and final disposition explicit

The customer and its appointed technical parties own workload shutdown, backups, service isolation, data release and any later operating decision. Data sanitization, destruction, recycling, resale, title transfer, compliance certification and OEM return acceptance require their separately appointed providers and evidence. Removing equipment from a rack establishes none of those outcomes.

Liquid-side connections and disconnections, cooling-loop work and facility electrical construction remain excluded from Leviathan's physical service. Any separately requested power-cord task involving existing approved equipment requires an expressly agreed scope, applicable OEM instructions, facility authorization, appropriate personnel and insurance. No electrical isolation, energization or liquid-side method is supplied here.

Handling, lifting, structural suitability and specialist equipment requirements depend on the actual assembly and site. They are reviewed before execution is agreed. This page does not promise unreviewed populated-rack movement, an emergency attendance commitment or a guaranteed clearance date.

Project questions

How is this different from equipment relocation?

This package ends at the agreed physical removal and next-recipient handoff. Relocation continues through a defined origin-to-destination move and may include reinstallation. Identify the result you need so transport, destination receiving and installation are neither assumed nor omitted.

Does de-racking include erasing data or providing a destruction certificate?

No. The customer assigns data release, sanitization or destruction to its appointed responsible parties. The physical work record identifies the included equipment and task; it does not certify data treatment, recycling, resale or compliance.

Can removal be scoped while other equipment remains active?

The proposed work must be reviewed against the actual site, system-state and connection boundaries. Identify the operating and facility owners, released tasks and restrictions. A list of equipment to remove is not permission to alter unidentified or production-connected systems, and this page supplies no live-work method.

Will Leviathan collect and store equipment until a recycler is ready?

Do not assume collection or storage from this service description. Identify the customer-appointed recipient, proposed location, collection arrangements and expected timing in the brief. Any included packing, permitted holding period, handling or logistics interface must be confirmed explicitly for the engagement.

Discuss the removal population and next handoff

Send a nonconfidential equipment summary, current site and positions, the authorized physical tasks and intended next recipient. Identify the unresolved operating, facility or disposition decisions so we can discuss a defined scope and availability.
