What Is Cable Basket Tray?_

It consists of welded steel wires formed into a continuous tray that lets cables rest on the grid while allowing airflow and access for changes. Sections are joined with splice plates and attached to overhead supports or rack tops with brackets. The open design separates power and signal runs and supports drops into racks without enclosed conduit.

Technical Details

Trays maintain minimum bend radius at turns and waterfall exits through their geometry and optional radius accessories. They are bonded together with grounding straps to preserve electrical continuity across the run. Cable basket trays accept both copper patch cords and MPO fiber trunks on the same or adjacent sections when segregation is required.

How Leviathan Systems Works with Cable Basket Tray

Leviathan crews mount cable basket trays during rack-row assembly to carry structured cabling from GPU racks to the scale-out network. The trays keep MPO fiber and copper runs organized and accessible for later commissioning work.
