What Is Pre-Power Inspection?_
The inspection confirms that mechanical installation, cabling, and cooling infrastructure are complete and free of visible defects or hazards. It occurs after rack integration and structured cabling but prior to first energization during commissioning. The process reduces risk of equipment damage or safety events once power is applied.
Technical Details
Verification includes seating of copper NVLink connections inside the rack and separate MPO or fiber scale-out links for InfiniBand or Ethernet networks. Liquid cooling loops are checked for proper hose routing, manifold connections, and absence of leaks or blockages. Grounding continuity, PDU wiring, and absence of debris or loose hardware are confirmed against the OEM documentation.
How Leviathan Systems Works with Pre-Power Inspection
Leviathan field crews conduct pre-power inspection on H100 to GB200 NVL72 racks after completing rack assembly, structured cabling, and liquid cooling installation but before commissioning begins.
