What Is GB200 NVL72 Rack?_
It uses an internal copper NVLink fabric to connect the GPUs within the rack while keeping the scale-out InfiniBand or Ethernet network on separate MPO or fiber cabling. The rack is delivered as a pre-assembled unit that requires on-site liquid-cooling loop completion and power commissioning.
Technical Details
GPU-to-GPU NVLink connections remain inside the rack on copper links. External connectivity uses push-pull QSFP or OSFP connectors. Liquid-cooling manifolds and power distribution are completed after the rack is placed and leveled.

Field crews receive the rack as a single lift, complete the structured cabling for the scale-out fabric, mate the liquid-cooling quick-connects, and perform domain bring-up and acceptance tests.
