They progress from basic visual and mechanical inspections to electrical, thermal, and network validation under controlled conditions. Each level requires documented sign-off before the next phase begins to isolate faults early. Final stages incorporate integrated cluster tests that exercise both intra-rack and scale-out connectivity.
Technical Details
Copper NVLink connections inside the rack are validated separately from MPO-based fiber scale-out networks. Push-pull connectors on QSFP, OSFP, and MPO interfaces are inspected for proper seating without torque application. Results from each level are recorded and retained for the handover package.
