What Is Cabinet Grounding Kit?_

It creates a low-impedance path from the cabinet metalwork to the building ground grid so fault current can return safely to source. The kit is installed at designated attachment points on the rack and connected onward to the room-level grounding infrastructure. Proper use reduces touch potential during electrical faults in high-power GPU deployments.

Technical Details

Connections use mechanical compression lugs or exothermic welds sized to the facility grounding conductor; torque values follow the OEM specification for each fastener. The cabinet frame itself serves as the bonding surface; separate insulated or bare copper straps link adjacent racks when required by the electrical design. All connections remain accessible for inspection and are made before any power is applied to the rack.

How Leviathan Systems Works with Cabinet Grounding Kit

Field crews install the kit during rack assembly so each cabinet is bonded to the data-hall ground grid before liquid-cooling loops or power feeds are energized.
