Supermicro manufactures GPU-optimized server platforms for AI and high-performance computing. Supermicro designs high-density server systems that integrate NVIDIA HGX baseboards and GPUs with flexible configurations for different workload requirements. Leviathan deploys Supermicro GPU infrastructure from bare rack to production-ready.
We do not sell Supermicro hardware. Our clients procure Supermicro servers through their own supply chain. We handle the physical deployment.
What We Deploy_
Supermicro builds GPU server platforms that emphasize configurability and density. Their systems accommodate a range of NVIDIA GPU configurations — from inference-optimized servers with fewer GPUs to full 8-GPU training nodes with HGX baseboards. Supermicro platforms are common in both hyperscale and enterprise GPU deployments.
The physical deployment of Supermicro GPU servers follows the same rigorous process we apply to every vendor: rail installation, server placement per the cluster topology, power cable routing, network cable routing, NVLink and InfiniBand interconnect installation, cable management, and POST verification.
Supermicro's modular approach to server design means configurations can vary significantly between projects. Leviathan's teams adapt to the specific Supermicro platform being deployed — because the cabling paths, airflow requirements, and component layout differ across Supermicro's product line.
Our Supermicro Deployment Scope_
Rack Assembly
Rail installation, server and switch placement, PDU mounting. Supermicro's rack-scale designs require attention to airflow direction, component clearance, and serviceability access — particularly in high-density GPU configurations.
Power and Network Cabling
Power cable routing to redundant PDUs. High-speed network fabric connections using fiber, DAC, AOC, or AEC interconnects. Management network connections. All cabling to TIA-942 and BICSI standards.
GPU Interconnects
NVLink routing within multi-GPU nodes. InfiniBand or high-speed Ethernet connections across the cluster fabric. Correct interconnect routing is critical for training performance — a miscabled NVLink connection can degrade an entire GPU domain.
Testing and Commissioning
OTDR testing on every fiber link. Insertion loss and return loss verification. Copper certification. POST verification confirming all GPUs detected, all interconnects active, firmware validated. Complete documentation delivered.
Liquid Cooling
For Supermicro GPU platforms that require liquid cooling — including those housing GB200 and GB300 NVL72 configurations — Leviathan handles CDU installation, manifold routing, quick-disconnect fittings, leak detection, and thermal commissioning.
Cross-Vendor Integration_
Supermicro GPU servers deploy alongside NVIDIA compute modules and network switching infrastructure from vendors like Arista. Leviathan understands the full stack — how Supermicro server hardware, NVIDIA GPUs, and the network fabric integrate at the physical layer.
