Structured Cabling & Fiber Technician (Data Center)

Install and certify the high-density fiber and copper plant behind GPU clusters — MPO trunks, DAC/AOC, and the scale-out fabric.

Responsibilities

• Route, dress, and label MPO/fiber trunks and DAC/AOC interconnects to standard
• Clean and inspect fiber end-faces; verify MPO polarity before mating
• Certify links (continuity, insertion/return loss) and record results
• Maintain bend-radius, slack, and separation per TIA/BICSI practice
• Produce as-built cable maps for the deployed plant

What we're looking for

• Structured cabling / fiber experience (BICSI or equivalent a plus)
• Familiar with MPO/MTP, OM4/OS2, and fiber inspection/cleaning
• Careful, methodical, and comfortable with test/certification tools
• Able to travel and work on-site through a build
• Able to lift ~50 lbs and work in an active data hall
